Patient Notification Quick Reference Guide
The OPTN/UNOS Patient Affairs Committee developed a one-page overview of patient notification requirements for changes in waitlist status, as defined in OPTN/UNOS Policy 3.2.7.
The Patient Notification Quick Reference Guide is for transplant center staff as they develop and implement their own waitlist notification practices. The guide should be used in conjunction with the OPTN/UNOS Evaluation Plan.
The Waitlist Notification Quick Reference Guide will be updated periodically to incorporate changes in requirements.
