Webster Santos reappointed as junior faculty fellow

The Blackwood Junior Faculty Fellowship of Life Sciences was established in 2006 with a gift from Mary and Willis Blackwood to support and advance instruction, research, and collaboration in the life sciences with a complementary focus on the development of entrepreneurial opportunities.

Marching Virginians to get new facilities

The marching band's new facilities will include a building for instrument storage and percussion practice, and an attached pavilion that will provide covered space for the full band to practice, rain or shine. The project also includes a lighted practice field.

    The Marching Virginians of Virginia Tech will soon have a new state-of-the-art facility.
