Mission Statement
Develop, coordinate and synchronize Marine Corps policy and procedures supporting joint DOD policy/initiatives relative to sustainment distribution including freight, supply and logistics chain interfaces, transportation and related financial automated information systems, Second Destination Transportation funding management, strategic mobility and unit-move deployment, household goods, passenger travel and packaging/packing policies.
Execute direct interface with the entire DOD Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) to influence strategic, theater and tactical deployment and distribution enabling execution of Marine Corps funding, roles and missions tied to USC Title 10.
Integrate selected logistics chain and transportation capabilities necessary to advocate, promulgate, develop and monitor logistics chain process improvements in support of the operating forces and DOD’s End-to-End deployment and distribution architecture.
