SAINT CLAIR - The Columbia Hose Company No. 2 was selected to receive a $39,900 grant through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant program.

 

U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright, D-17, announced the award of the grant Friday, saying it would be used for enhancements to operations and safety.

Cartwright will be the top Democrat on the Economic Growth, Job Creation and Regulatory Affairs Subcommittee, which is part of the larger House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
