Contractors play a vital role in supporting the 50th Space Wing and Air Force missions. The objective of this Web site is to help business owners understand the acquisition process -- simply, how to do business with the 50th Space Wing and support our units/tenants in acquiring various items and services.
This web site provides access to a broad variety of resources to help businesses understand the Wing and the nuances of government acquisition. Whether you own a large or small business and regardless of your experience, this site will provide you with information that works for your business.

INFORMATION FOR CONTRACTORS
System for Award Management (SAM)
SAM -- https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM --is a new Federal website that consolidates the capabilities you used to find in CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS. Future phases of SAM will add the capabilities of other systems used in Federal procurement and awards processes. The overarching benefits of SAM include streamlined and integrated processes, elimination of data redundancies, and reduced costs while providing improved capability.
Since its deployment in late Jul 2012, SAM has been experiencing technical difficulties. As such, DoD issued a Class Deviation in late Aug 2012.
If you had an active record in CCR, you have an active record in SAM. You do not need to do anything in SAM at this time, unless a change in your business circumstances requires a change in SAM in order for you to be paid or to receive an award. SAM will send notifications to the registered user via email 60, 30, and 15 days prior to expiration of the record. You can search for registered entities in SAM by typing the DUNS number or business name into the search box.

Electronic Subcontracting Report System (eSRS)
Department of Defense organizations that handle unclassified contracts awarded to large companies with a subcontracting plan will now use eSRS to report their semi-annual subcontracting reporting. Classified contract subcontracting reporting should still be done through government contracting officials. For information, visit the eSRS web site.
Business Partner Network (BPN)
The BPN is the single source for vendor data for the Federal Government. The BPN is a search mechanism that provides unprecedented views into several key data bases across Federal Agencies. Check it out by visiting the BPN web site.
