Commander and District Engineer

Lt. Col. Thomas D. Asbery hails from Woodbridge, Virginia. He was commissioned in the United States Army Corps of Engineers in May 1994 after graduating from West Virginia University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture. He also has a Master of Science in Architecture - Construction Management degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.  Asbery became the 68th commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Honolulu District on July 18, 2012.

Deputy District Engineer </br>and Chief of Programs and Project Management

      Anthony J. Paresa is the Deputy District Engineer for Programs and Project Management at the Honolulu District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, headquartered at Fort Shafter on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. He also serves as the Chief of the Programs and Project Management Division.

Deputy Commander and Deputy District Engineer

Maj. Sally Hannan began work as a Project Manager in the Environmental Department of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District in January 2011 and became Deputy Commander in September 2012. Before arriving at the Honolulu District, USACE, Maj. Hannan attended the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, KS.
