Individual Training
Alternate Annual Training
The purpose of the Alternate Annual Training program is to provide Selected Marine Corps Reservists who are unable to attend their unit annual training, two weeks of alternate annual training in their MOS through MCCDC organizations. MCCDC routinely has opportunities available for all Marines, Officers and Enlisted, in all Military Occupational Specialties.

Opportunities
Reserve Commanders and Inspector Instructors are encouraged to contact us in order to get specific details on existing opportunities. Generally, we are able to accommodate any Marine who requires an AAT and will guarantee an MOS match or an assignment commensurate with grade. Once a unit identifies their AAT requirement, we can have specific assignments established within 48 hours. If you are an individual selected Reservist and know that you will require an AAT, contact your chain of command and advise them that you are interested in an AAT aboard MCCDC.

Flexible Scheduling and Support
In order to accommodate the varying schedules of individual Marines, we can schedule AAT's during anytime of the year. In an attempt to maximize training time, we prefer to have Marines to travel on a Sunday, and report for duty on Monday. To help facilitate coordination, it is requested that arrangements be made at least two weeks in advance to training. Marines can travel as individuals or groups, whichever is convenient to the unit. Specific arrangements can be made to have the Marines picked up from area airports. All Marines will receive adequate billeting, messing and administrative support while on active duty.

Active Duty Operational Support
The purpose of ADOS is to provide experienced Marines for periods of active duty up to 180 days for the purpose of meeting short term reserve component and DOD special interest projects. While it is intended to support short-term projects, it can also be used to alleviate high operational and personnel tempo due to emerging requirements that are above and beyond day-to-day operations.

Opportunities
The availability of ADOS opportunities is dependent upon the specific requirements of MCCDC organizations and available funding. When opportunities become available, potential candidates are screened based upon their professional and technical qualifications, and their ability to meet specific Marine Corps standards (valid current contract, current physical, weight standards, etc.).

Reserve Counterpart Training
The purpose of Reserve Counter Part Training is to provide Marines of the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) an opportunity to volunteer annually for assignments to Active Duty for training aboard MCCDC. Assignments are normally for two weeks in duration and Marines are limited to one assignment per year. The overall objective is to increase the mobilization potential of the IRR member, thereby increasing the readiness of the Marine Corps.

Specific Guidelines
SMCR personnel, to include Individual Mobilization Augmentees (IMA) personnel, and members of the Standby Reserve (active and inactive units) are not eligible for and will not be assigned to RCT. The RCT program is specifically designed for IRR personnel in the grades Private through Gunnery Sergeant, Warrant Officer through Chief Warrant Officer-3 and Second Lieutenant through Major. Reserve Marines who have completed 60 days or more of active duty in the preceding 6 months are not eligible for RCT.

Opportunities
MCCDC has numerous RCT opportunities available year round for qualified applicants. Typically requests for duty should be received at least 60 days in advance so that orders may be requested from Marine Corps Reserve Support Command.

Individual PHA Scheduling
If you need to schedule a PHA (Periodic Health Assessment) you can utilize the Navy Reserve Medical/Dental unit at Andrews Air Force Base in MD. To view site click this Link
