Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR)
Reserve Component Liaison (RCL)
As a DOD Contractor located at the RC Headquarters, I am the primary liaison among the RC Headquarters staff, ESGR Headquarters staff, and the State ESGR. My mission is as follows:
- Assist with managing the RC’s Military Outreach Program; Provide training and ESGR materials to RC members.
- Ensure units have access to and understand all available ESGR services.
- Provide ESGR program technical assistance and guidance to RC Leadership, State ESGR Leadership, and Guard/Reserve members so they may accomplish objectives and mission of the ESGR program and understand prescribed rights under Federal and state Law.
- Coordinate with RC HQ, and ESGR HQ and states to ensure mobilization/demobilization (MOB/DEMOB) and Employer Outreach activities for the appropriate RC units & members are conducted.
- Participate in conferences and meetings where Employer and Military Outreach are of benefit to the goals and objectives as defined by ESGR.
