Colonel John P. Stack was commissioned in 1989 as a Distinguish Military Graduate from Rutgers University.

Positions held include Bradley Platoon Leader, Anti-Tank Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, and Battalion Support Platoon Leader. Colonel Stack served as a Bradley Platoon Leader during Operation Desert Storm.
