How to Schedule an Appointment

NOTE: All U.S. visa processing posts in Saudi Arabia will no longer accept family passports. Every individual applying for a U.S. visa must have his/her own passport.

All visa applicants between 14 and 79 years old must appear in person for an interview and require an appointment.

All visa appointments for nonimmigrant visas are made online at the VisaPoint website

Please note that if the VisaPoint main page indicates that the next available appointment for a given location is "0 Days," that means there are currently no appointments available for that location.

Applicants under 14 years old

Applicants under 14 years old do not need to appear for an interview. Parents can either bring the following documents with them to their visa interview, or FedEx the documents to the Embassy in order to apply for their child’s visa:

  • The child's own passport
  • A completed DS-160 form
  • Receipt from SAMBA
  • Birth certificate
  • A copy of the visa from both parents OR A passport copy from the non-traveling parent with a letter stating no objection to the child's travel
  • For children of students (F2): an I-20 listing child's name
  • Return airway bill

Please mail your documents via FedEx to this address:
