This page contains archive information about the Central GOA Rockfish Pilot Program which was a 5-year pilot project effective from 2007 through 2011 to permit harvesters to form voluntary cooperatives and receive an exclusive harvest privilege to groundfish species in the Central Gulf of Alaska (GOA). The program is now expired and has been replaced by the GOA Rockfish Program.

Pilot Program Regulatory Amendments and Corrections
- 74 FR 51515, October 7, 2009. Final rule to provide harvesting cooperatives, crab processing quota share holders, and Western Alaska Community Development Quota (CDQ) groups with the option to make intercooperative transfers, crab individual processing quota transfers, and inter-group transfers through an automated, web based process. Effective November 6, 2009.

Fishery Management Plan (FMP) Amendments
- 76 FR 52148, August 19, 2011. Proposed regulations to implement Amendment 88 to the Fishery Management Plan for Groundfish of the GOA, which regulates the Central Gulf of Alaska Rockfish Program. This action is necessary to replace particular Rockfish Pilot Program regulations that are scheduled to expire at the end of 2011. Comment period through September 19, 2011.
