Social Security offers a number of services and products specifically designed for people who are blind or visually impaired.
Special Notice Option
You can choose to receive notices from us in one of the following ways:

Standard print notice by first-class mail

Standard print notice by certified mail

Standard print notice by first-class mail and a follow-up telephone call

Braille notice and a standard print notice by first-class mail

Microsoft Word file on a data compact disc and a standard print notice by first-class mail

Public Information Materials
We make all of our publications available in multiple formats, including Braille, audio cassette tapes, compact disks or enlarged print on request. Most of our publications are currently in audio format at Social Security Publications.
