Job Description |
|
Basic Purpose |
|
Assist engineers and physicists in development, improvement, and construction of rf electronics and amplifiers. Duties include assembly, test and debug, installation, as well as, operation and maintenance of high-power rf amplifiers. Ability to work unsupervised or, with a minimum of supervision, on high-power rf amplifiers. Careful workmanship, attention to detail, and accurate logging and reporting of data are required. |

Knowledge, Skills and Experience |
|
Other Two-year Associate`s Degree or equivalent plus 5 or more years related experience in building, testing, and maintaining high-power (multikilowatt) rf amplifiers and associated power equipment including high-power transmitters. Considerable knowledge of construction and testing techniques of rf devices. Considerable mechanical aptitude with good knowledge of rf electronics. |
