Located aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, the Alfred M. Gray Marine Corps Research Center (GRC) supports the professional military educational and academic needs of the students and faculty of Marine Corps University (MCU). Additionally, the GRC supports remote research conducted by Marines located around the world.
The GRC has two distinct components: the GRC Conference Center, and the Library of the Marine Corps (LoMC), which is comprised of the USMC Research Library, the USMC Archives, and the Quantico Base Library. The LoMC's Virtual Library provides the Internet presence for all GRC components.
