USADF began programming in Ghana in 1984
Focus: USADF grants in Ghana previously focused on developing small and medium enterprises (SME) to improve their potential to create greater employment and income generating opportunities. In recent years, USADF has focused its grants toward marginalized groups and farmers.
Food Security: USADF grants in Ghana, such as fruit and vegetable farming, fortified cereal production and pork products, help improve nutrition and food security by increasing incomes and nutritious food available to local farmers and their families.
