Airmen deliver Soldiers, communication equipment to Haiti

First AF Reserve mission from Puerto Rico
Tech. Sgt. Brad Dahl, a crew chief deployed from the Minnesota Air National Guard's 133rd Airlift Wing, closes the hatch on an Air Force Reserve C-130 Hercules Jan. 25 at Muniz Air Base, Puerto Rico. Moments later, the C-130 and its crew took off, performing their first mission in support of Haiti earthquake relief operations since deploying the Caribbean. Approximately 50 members of the 302nd AW deployed to Muniz Jan. 23 in support of Air Expeditionary Force Coronet Oak, operated by the 35th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron. Working together
Chief Master Sgt. Byron Todd (right), a C-130 Hercules loadmaster assigned to the Minnesota Air National Guard's 133rd Airlift Wing, coordinates with Puerto Rico ANG logisticians Jan. 23 while securing relief packages to the aircraft bound for Haiti. Chief Todd and his crew put the final touches on securing much-needed aid to the island of Haiti for an evening mission into the country. The 133rd AW is joined by a sister ANG unit, the 179th AW, as well as the Air Force Reserve's 302nd AW.
