Operations (N3)

Military Sealift Command's Operations Directorate develops and implements policies, procedures and plans to ensure the operational readiness of MSC ships and programs to support Navy and Joint operations; runs the Global Command Information Center, which is the single point of contact to the U.S. Transportation Command and U.S. Navy operations centers; and develops Anti-terrorism and Force Protection policies and procedures for MSC ships, including a security assurance program addressing requirements for Chemical Biological and Radiation Defense, the Critical Infrastructure Program and Homeland Defense.
