Employment

All DOD commands and activities have moved to a regionalized human resources management and processing environment. Many activities are now only accepting automated applications. In addition, most commands and activities are posting all job announcements via the Web; this is the case with Navy, from whom MSC receives regionalized human resources services.

The Department of the Navy Human Resources web page provides information on a variety of topics, including job opportunities, training courses, benefits, and EEO. That website can be found at:

The seven Human Resource Service Centers (HRSC) around the world handle vacancies for many different kinds of positions at multiple locations. You may directly access announcements using the links here.

HRSC East located in Portsmouth, VA handles MSC jobs on the East Coast including jobs at MSC Headquarters in Washington, DC, while HRSC Southwest located in San Diego, CA handles West Coast recruitment. Overseas jobs would be announced by either HRSC Europe or HRSC Pacific.

If you are interested in other Navy jobs you can visit NavyJobs.com.

If you are interested in other Federal jobs, two additional Web sites are available, one for DOD and one for OPM:

For information on visiting MSC Headquarters, view the MSC Visitor's Information page.
