U.S. Condemns Terrorist Attack In Kohat

Islamabad - The U.S. Embassy in Pakistan strongly condemns the vicious attack targeting a police compound in Kohat on Tuesday, which killed and injured many innocent Pakistanis.

To target innocent people, especially women and children, during the holy month of Ramadan makes this even more reprehensible. Our deepest sympathies are with the families of the victims and with all the people of Pakistan.

The United States will continue to support the people of Pakistan as they rebuild and strive for peace and stability during such challenging times.
