Correction for the Record: NATO Supply Lines

Islamabad - A national daily newspaper published an article today which included a quote alleging that NATO supply lines to Afghanistan had been cut due to the devastating floods in Pakistan.

These allegations are completely false. NATO supply lines are open and continue to operate. While there have been slower transit times for the flow of NATO cargo to Afghanistan as a result of Pakistan's flooding, there has been no significant impact on ISAF operations or NATO supply routes.
