Drake Thinks Outside Box to Fix Wide Array of Water Treatment Issues

Drake Water Technologies, Inc. is an expert at solving difficult water treatment problems and is looking to expand its business into the Canadian energy market. The company describes itself as "using 'in the box' expertise with 'outside the box' innovation."

Vivian Drake, Chief Operating Officer, and Craig Kennedy, Chief Business Officer for C&E Reclamation, made the trip up to Calgary for the 2012 Global Petroleum Show to build contacts and strengthen existing relationships. The company sees Canada as the perfect place to grow and feels the services it offers would benefit many companies, particularly those in Alberta's oil and gas sector.

"We want to promote the work we're doing up here where the industry has really taken off," said Drake.

For companies in the field, Drake has the technology to solve the problem of partial clean up of large amounts of slightly polluted water, to treat Frac-return with high levels of total dissolved solids and to reclaim drill cuttings, soils, emulsion/invert fluids and 'rag layer'.

The company's goal is to offer cost-effective and efficient solutions to environmental problems in the energy field.

Drake Water Technologies, Inc. was one of more than 300 U.S. companies in total at the 2012 Global Petroleum Show in Calgary.
