11 July 2012: Application for Presidential Permit for Construction of New International Trade Crossing
Today the State Department issued a Notice of Receipt of Application for Presidential Permit for the Construction of a New International Trade Crossing (NITC). The application is from the State of Michigan, and is for a proposed bridge crossing from Wayne County in Michigan to Essex County in Ontario. The Notice has been published in the Federal Register, and can be viewed online (96KB PDF).
Public comments on the application may be submitted via email at NITCComments@state.gov. Comments must be submitted on or before August 9, 2012.
