Next Monday, August 27th, join the Embassy for a webchat with Judge J. Michelle Childs, United States District Court Judge.
Judge Childs will be talking about minorities in the law and the judiciary and in major law firms, opportunities in bar leadership and mentoring, participation in politics and the need for a diversity of perspectives. She will also share her own personal experiences and perspectives as both an elected and appointed judge, and the first African American woman to become a partner in a South Carolina law firm.
