From May 11th to 13th, the Foreign Agriculture Service and TasteUS! took part in SIAL Canada in Toronto. SIAL is an international food expo and the Canadian edition attracts over 12,000 visitors each year. This year the USA Pavilion had 28 U.S. Companies exhibiting. The U.S. Mission in Canada was represented by DCM James Nealon and Kevin Johnson, the Consul General in Toronto, who visited the show on opening day to attend the opening ceremonies.

TasteUS! is an initiative started in 2005 by a public-private partnership designed to increase awareness of cooperative promotions among USDA, non-profit agricultural groups, and non-profit state-regional trade groups. TasteUS! offers Canadians an amazing selection of U.S.-grown food and beverage products available year round.
