Center Staff member: Hello, my name is Monty Strain. I'm with the Facilities Maintenance department here at Atterbury Job Corps Center.

We've acquired three vehicles. We use the one truck here primarily in the Maintenance Department. The others are used by other departments on center. What we have utilized this vehicle for is to minimize some of our, or cut down on some of our trips, short trips, where this will take the place of the more gas-guzzling, bigger three-quarter ton trucks that we have. Since most of our trips are relatively short, this vehicle saves us quite a bit of fuel in that manner.

All right, well, the operation in this vehicle - of course, it has your miles per hour, the number of trips; it has the gauge, which tells you the charge rate; how many charges is the green bars, then the yellow, then the red, then after that you're in trouble. It has two forward gears, one reverse gear, that are located right here. Your emergency brake; has a fan, windshield wiper.
