SGT Daniel Maffett

SGT Maffett is from the sunny state of Florida. He enlisted in Army as a Combat Documentation Specialist in 2007. He completed Basic Training at Ft Jackson, SC. He continued his career by attending DINFOS on Fort Meade, MD in 2008. He was assigned to the 55th Combat Camera Company where he became a team leader in Special Missions Platoon. While in Special Missions platoon he served two tours in Afghanistan supporting 3rd Special Forces Group in 2009 and Special Operations Command in 2010.
SGT Maffett enjoys snowboarding, surfing, riding bikes, ball room dancing, gymnastics, skydiving, jet-skiing, sailing, traveling, stunt riding, racing, parasailing, skin boarding, soccer, and learning new and exciting things.
His military schools include Basic Still photography, Basic Videography, Warrior Leadership Course and Special Forces Support School.
SGT Maffett arrived at the station in July 2011.
