Army Substance Abuse Program

The Fort McCoy Army Substance Abuse Program is available to assist all Soldiers, Department of the Army civilians and certain dependents and retirees.

Services available include drug and alcohol prevention training; Unit Prevention Leader (UPL) certification; processing of urinalysis samples; substance-abuse assessment and treatment of active-duty Soldiers; Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services including screening, assessment, short-term counseling and referrals for Department of the Army civilian employees, dependents, and retirees; Suicide Prevention resources and training, as well as Sexual Harassment / Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) resources.

The Army Substance Abuse Program Office is open from 7:30- 11:30 a.m. and 12:30-4 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Clients needing to schedule training or other assistance outside of these hours can make arrangements on an appointment basis. The office is located in building 1344.
