934th Airlift Wing Units
Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport Air Reserve Base is located in the Twin Cities metro area and is home to the "Global Vikings" who fly the C-130 Hercules aircraft. The 934th Airlift Wing employs more than 1,300 Reservists of which about 250 are full-time. The 934th reports to 22nd Air Force at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga.
The 934th's gaining active-duty force is Air Mobility Command's 15th Air Force at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The wing directly or indirectly supports approximately 5,000 members of the Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, Minnesota Air National Guard, Army Reserve, Army National Guard, Naval Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve and Civil Air Patrol.
