Women Veterans Program

Health care for female Veterans is designed to meet their primary care and gender specific health care needs.

Services provided include mammograms, pap tests, breast exams, bone density tests, birth control, prenatal care, peri-menopausal and menopausal care, sexual trauma evaluation and treatment, and gynecologic (female) surgery.

Female Veterans are encouraged to receive their medical as well as mental health care from the VA, and are assured privacy in any VA health care setting.
