Registration

Registration of your school age children can be accomplished by reporting to the main office of the school on NAS I and presenting the following required documents.  Much of the process may be completed on line at On-Line Registration. Without the necessary paperwork your child cannot be enrolled.  Every effort will be made for the appropriate placement of children enrolling during the mid-year. Registration is on-going at Stephen Decatur School during all months. Watch for special Welcome Back Announcements during the first weeks of August.   • One Copy of sponsor's PCS orders assigning sponsor and dependents to Sigonella with amendment if applicable
  • Birth Certificate or Passport for each child
  • Social Security Number or non-availability statement if no SSN is available
  • Children's Immunization records, for further information DoDEA Immunization Information
  • Records from Previous School
  • Valid ID Card of Parent

Transferring from School: When transferring from Sigonella Middle High Schooll during the school year, the following procedures should be followed:

By the day before the actual withdrawal date, the student should be sure all obligations have been met including turning in materials and paying for anything lost or damaged.  On the day of the withdrawal date the student must report to the Registrar's Office to pick up a Clearance Form.  This form must be completed during the day and returned to the Registrar's Office before departing school.  This must be accomplished before school records may be released.  Parent may pick up hand-carry copies of records after completion of clearance procedures.

Students will go on Study Trips during the school year.  Parents will receive notification from the teacher and will be required to give permission each time, unless it is an on-base walking trip in which case you will receive a notification through the teacher and no permission will be required.

School Bus Transportation arrangements will be made by the parents at the Bus Office. Any questions about transportation will be handled by that office.
