Quiz Americana Launch

The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy is pleased to introduce a quiz game entitled, “Quiz Americana.” Quiz Americana tests your knowledge about the USA by asking 10 America-related questions each month.  The goal is to motivate Cambodian students to actively search out in-depth information about the United States.

The competition is open to all Cambodian students who visit the U.S. Embassy’s Information Resource Center (IRC) located on the ground floor of the U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh.  The IRC is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 13:30 p.m. to 16:30 p.m. The first quiz will start on February 1, 2012.

Prizes will be awarded to people who answer to all 10 questions correctly. One prize will be awarded per person, with a maximum of seven prizes for each quiz—three t-shirts, two motorbike helmets, and two English dictionaries.  If more than seven students answer all questions correctly, the awards will be distributed by lottery.
