 Embassy Speakers Program

The Embassy Speakers Program offers the opportunity for educational institutions, NGOs, think-tanks, businesses, and other organizations to hear Embassy Officers speak about the U.S., and their own work as diplomats in Greece. Topics may include the Global Economic Crisis, Immigration, Life and Culture in the U.S., U.S. – Greece Relations, among others. Embassy Speakers can address any size group.

English language teachers and students who would like an opportunity to interact with a native speaker and practice their English skills can also take advantage of the  Embassy Speakers program.  Presentations topics may include, U.S. culture and history, the environment, American holidays, sports, science, music, arts and education in the U.S.

Please note: We are eager to hear from you – but please keep in mind that we may not be able to satisfy all requests for speakers.   Your flexibility and understanding is appreciated in the event that Embassy officers have other commitments that require immediate attention.  Also, we request at least two weeks’ notice to schedule a presentation.
