Delta Company Families,

First off, it is great for my family and I to be back out here at 1st Tank Battalion. This was our first home as a Marine family and we value all of our time out here in the "beautiful" Mojave Desert.

On behalf of 1stSgt Hartmann and the rest of the company leadership, I would like to welcome all of you to Delta Company. I know many of you have been around for a while now, but for those of you who are new to this command I hope your experience will be a great one.

Your Marines are going to be very busy over the next few months leading up to our up-coming deployment. I hope each of you understands the importance and necessity of the training we must go through in order to provide our best effort when we head overseas. However, the company leadership and I will ensure we get your Marines home as often as possible. I would just ask you to remain flexible and continue in your unwavering support for your Marine!

Finally, I would like to personally thank each one of you for sacrifice and service to this country, this Corps, and to 1st Tank Battalion. You are as much a part of this team as any Marine in this company. If you have any concerns or questions as prepare not just the Marines to deploy, but the families as well, feel free to contact myself, the First Sergeant, or any member of the company leadership. We look forward to meeting all of you soon!
