Short Biography

Larry K. Allain, B.S. 1975. Production Agriculture, University of Louisiana Lafayette.  M.S. 1994. Biology, University of Louisiana Lafayette.  Botany, plant ecology, pollination ecology, prairie restoration.

Allain's research involves ecology and vegetation characteristics of coastal prairie. Research emphasis is on restoration and rehabilitation of coastal prairie. Additional research interests include  including fire effects and impacts of ivasion by exotic species in coastal prairie. Allain curates the Harbarium at the National Wetlands Research Center.
