Coastal Prairie Management and Restoration

This program provides assistance to land managers in the revegetation, restoration, and management of the gulf coastal prairie, which extends from western Louisiana through southern Texas. Research projects currently include evaluation of planting procedures, control of invasive species, effects of fire on management, and community processes.
