MISSION
Develop policy and procedural requirements for sustainment distribution including freight and logistics chain interfaces, transportation automated information systems and packaging/packing requirements within the Defense Transportation System.
Execute interfaces with the Joint Community pertaining to establishing requirements, methods and processes that facilitate coordination and synchronization within the entire Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) touching all nodes and modes within strategic, theater and tactical distribution to enable execution of USMC roles and missions tied to USC Title 10.
Integrate traffic management, transportation and distribution capabilities and applications necessary to advocate,promulgate, develop and monitor logistics chain process improvements and policy in support of DOD’s End-to-End Distribution architecture.
