Fire Prevention

The Fire Prevention Branch is a vital part of the Fort Bragg Fire and Emergency Services Division. This office is tasked with development, publish, and implement installation fire prevention and public education regulations. Components of this regulation include -
 
a. Hazard, compliance and special fire safety inspections that meet Federal, state and local/host nation laws and, Child and Youth Services (CYS) and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospital Organizations (JCAHO) support/consultancy requirements.
b. Project and plan review.
c. Testing and inspection of fire protection systems and equipment.
d. Training of building managers and evacuation managers, newcomers, Family members, schools, CYS employees and public assemblies (that is, churches, clubs, theaters, and so forth).
e. Fire protection for facilities engineering, design and construction.
 


 Any questions should be addressed to the Fire Prevention Branch at (910) 432-6727.  Operating hours are from 0700 hrs to 1630 hrs Monday through Friday.The Fire Inspectors for the Fort Bragg Fire and Emergency Services are located at DES Headquarters, which is near the intersection of Butner Rd. and Armstead Rd.
