  • You need your U.S. passport in less than 2 weeks for international travel
  • You need your U.S. passport within 4 weeks to obtain a foreign visa

When You Arrive for Your Appointment

  1. Arrive on time
  • You will not be admitted more than 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment time
  • You will not be admitted more than 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time
  1. You will be required to pass through building security screening and metal detectors
  1. Check-In at Information Desk
  • You must present your Social Security Number or Appointment Confirmation Number to verify your appointment
  • You must present proof of international travel within 2 weeks of the appointment or proof of emergency abroad
  1. Receive your queue number and take a seat
  • The public waiting area is limited to applicants, required witnesses, and those accompanying minors, disabled applicants, or serving as interpreters

From the South: 
Take I-19 North to I-10 West to Exit 257 (Speedway Blvd). Turn right onto Speedway Blvd. Travel approximately 8 miles on East Speedway Blvd and, after crossing North Kolb St, turn right onto North Finance Center Dr. Turn left onto East Rosewood St. The Western Passport Center is on the left at 7373 E. Rosewood St. Western Passport Center is co-located with the building at 7333 East Rosewood St. The entrance to the Western Passport Center does not face East Rosewood St but is on the right-hand side of the building located at 7333 East Rosewood St, under the canvas awning (“shade sail”).  Travel time from I-10 Exit 257 to 7373 E. Rosewood Street is approximately 45 minutes.

From the North:
Take I-10 East to the Speedway Blvd exit (Exit 257). Rosewood Street is approximately 45 minutes.

From Tucson International Airport:
Take South Tucson Blvd to the Airport Exit. Turn right onto East Valencia Rd. Go approximately 5.5 miles and turn left onto South Kolb Rd. Go approximately 6.5 miles and, after crossing East Broadway St, turn right onto East Rosewood St. The Western Passport Center is co-located with the building at 7333 East Rosewood St. The entrance to the Western Passport Center does not face East Rosewood St but is on the right-hand side of the building located at 7333 East Rosewood St, under the canvas awning (“shade sail”). (Travel time is approximately 25 minutes)

Parking:
Public parking is available in the parking lot on the right-hand side of the building located at 7333 East Rosewood St or in the parking lot across the street.

Important Information

  • There is no charge for an appointment at a passport agency. Customers should not pay anyone or any business making such a charge.

Title 18, United States Code, Section 930
Weapons Prohibited at All Passport Agencies – Federal law prohibits the knowing possession or the causing to be present of firearms or other dangerous weapons in Federal facilities and Federal court facilities by all persons not specifically authorized by Title 18 U.S.C., Section 930(c). Violators shall be subject to fine and/or imprisonment for periods of up to five (5) years.
