The Directorate of Logistics consists of the Office of the Director, Plans and Operations Division, Maintenance Division, Supply and Services Division, and the Transportation Division.
The Plans and Operations Division provides logistical and technical support for STAMIS (Standard Army Management Information System), quality assurance, command supply discipline program, awards program, hazardous materials management plan, mortuary affairs, contract administration budget, and management controls.
The Maintenance Division provides organizational, direct, and general support maintenance for installation and unit equipment, MWO and warranty programs, and Left Behind Equipment (LBE) and RESET support.
The Supply and Services Division manages all classes of supply (except medical), installation property, central issue facility, hazardous materials, food services, ammunition supply and laundry support.
The Transportation Division provides contract oversight for personal property movement and storage, official travel, General Services Administration non-tactical vehicle fleet, the transportation motor pool, licensing operations, railhead operations, and shipment of hazardous materials.
U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii's Directorate of Logistics operates several dining facilities, or DFACs, on Oahu. Hours vary by DFAC. Breakfast is $2.30, lunch is $4.25, and dinner is $4.25. Weekend meals are $4.85 for brunch and $5.95 for dinner.
Dining facilities are restricted to authorized patrons only.
Authorized Patrons
Per command policy USAG-HI 44, the following personnel are allowed to eat in on-post dining facilities on an occiasional basis during their work week, in addition to all active duty, Reserve and Guard Soldiers:
- Dod/Department of the Army civilian employees and DoD contractors working on the installation
- Spouses of active duty Soldiers working on the installation
- Retired military personnel working on the installation
- Civilian dignitaries
- Family members may subsist in garrison DFACs on a daily basis, during the deployment of a sponsor's unit for dining facility headcount support, family support and esprit de corps.
Individuals will not be authorized to purchase meals in any dining facility that exceeds a 100 percent utilization rate.
