What do you want to get from Tech@State?
Our firm has an exciting new technology that will greatly enhance citizen engagement and knowledge building / massive problem solving - very useful in the diaspora communities / peace envoy community etc... I hope to meet good people and find impactful collaborative projects. Have been exploring the intersection of international development / conflict resolution / diplomacy and technology since the time US State and USIP called it Virtual Diplomacy - any of you remember those days? :))
Why is user need more important than cool tech? Or is it?
There's certainly a little pushmepullyou in this but ultimately, it's human knowledge, refined collectively and shared generously, which will change the world! These cool technologies at our fingertips are just the means to that end.
