Occupational Health Clinic (OHC)

The OHC provides health-related services to Fort McCoy Department of Defense civilian employees. Services include treatment of job-related minor-medical care, such as treatment for minor injuries; blood pressure monitoring; audiograms; pre-employment physicals for firefighters, police officers and child care workers; and annual service physicals.

The OHC also manages programs for hearing and vision conservation, and respiratory wellness. Wellness tools, including classes, are offered as needed. These services and programs help the OHC accomplish its mission of sustaining a healthy work force.

The OHC is part of the health-care system provided by Ireland Army Community Hospital, U.S. Army Medical Department Activities-Fort Knox, Ky.

The clinic is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The OHC is located in the Fort McCoy Health Clinic, building 2669.

U.S. Army Health Clinic

The Health Clinic provides sick call services to Soldiers at Fort McCoy.

Services provided include major lab tests, minor surgeries, casting of simple fractures, repair of small lacerations, and pre-pack prescriptions for minimal or acute problems.

The Health Clinic is part of the health-care system provided by Ireland Army Community Hospital, U.S. Army Medical Department Activities-Fort Knox, Ky.

The clinic is open Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays for sick call from
7-8 a.m., and for appointments from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Health Clinic is located in building 2669.

Health Benefits Office/TRICARE

The Health Benefits Office(HBO)/TRICARE at Fort McCoy serves TRICARE beneficiaries including active-duty, Active Guard/Reserve, and retired servicemembers and their Families, surviving spouses and some former spouses.

The HBO/TRICARE Beneficiary Counseling and Assistance Coordinator (BCAC) is a liaison between beneficiaries and the medical contractors that provide services. The BCAC helps educate personnel about benefits and helps solve problems personnel may have in receiving their benefits.

The office also is a checkpoint for beneficiaries who have a permanent change of station to Fort McCoy.

The BCAC helps to ensure their enrollment is transferred and answers any questions.

The office is aligned with the Ireland Army Community Hospital at Fort Knox, Ky.

HBO/TRICARE is open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Walk-in hours are 7-9 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. Appointments are highly encouraged. The office is located in the Fort McCoy Health Clinic, building 2669.
