Police
The Fort McCoy Police Department protects and serves all members of the installation community. The department is aligned under the Directorate of Emergency Services and is staffed by Department of Defense civilian police personnel.
The department provides law and order operations and services by employing law enforcement resources (law enforcement operations, police investigations, traffic accident investigations, civilian working dogs, crisis response assets, police administration section); physical security resources (physical security inspectors, access control, alarm monitoring, and Crime prevention); and an emergency dispatch center (911 services) resources.
The Police Department is located in the Public Safety Center, building 1681. The department is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
