The 910th Airlift WIng Safety office encompasses functions relating to safety education; contractor and construction safety; mishap investigation, and analysis and trends computations; operations and facilities evaluation, inspection, and survey; risk assessment; consultation with commanders, functional managers, supervisors, and employees; and safety education and awareness promotion at all levels.

Our normal office hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
We're also open on the "A" UTA weekends.

tabC-130 Hercules 
C-130 imageThe C-130 Hercules primarily performs the tactical portion of the airlift mission. The aircraft is capable of operating from rough, dirt strips and is the prime transport for air dropping troops and equipment into hostile areas. The C-130 operates throughout the U.S. Air Force, serving with Air Mobility Command, Air Force Special Operations Command, Air Combat Command, U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Pacific Air Forces, Air National Guard and the Air Force Reserve Command, fulfilling a wide range of operational missions in both peace and war situations.  Read the full fact sheet.

The 910th Airlift Wing Safety office staff assists agencies like the base fire department with ensuring the proper maintenance and inspection of facility fire protection systems like the ones used in our aircraft hangars.  Click the photo to see a demonstration of one of the systems.
