Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement - VISA

The VISA program is a partnership between the U.S. Goverment and the maritime industry to provide the Department of Defense (DOD) with "assured access" to commercial sealift and intermodal capacity to support the emergency deployment and sustainment of U.S. military forces. Intermodal capacity includes dry cargo ships, equipment, terminal facilities and intermodal management services.

Displays the list of carriers who are currently in the VISA Program.

Vessels - Ships Only

Displays a list of ships in the VISA Program.

Vessels - All Vessels

Displays all ships and auxiliary vessels in the VISA Program.

Vessel Type Summary

Displays the number of each type of vessel and associated militarily useful capacity in the VISA Program.

Maritime Security Program Vessels

Displays the list of carriers and vessels in the MSP. Vessels in the MSP must be enrolled in VISA.

Voluntary Tanker Agreement Vessels

Displays the list of carriers and vessels in the VTA. Tankers in the MSP must be enrolled in the VTA.
