The Asia Foundation (TAF)
The Asia Foundation (TAF) TAF administers three USAID projects:
• Access to Justice increases rural citizens' access to legal information and services, and improves the quality of informal dispute resolution and mediation.
• Conflict Mitigation Through Community-Oriented Policing introduces community-oriented policing to two pilot districts.
• Support for Local Governance, Elections and Civil Society helps village council elections and builds the capacity of village councils to implement the government's decentralization plans.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) CRS implements USAID's Laletek (Bridge) project, which is being piloted in several communities in Dili to develop trust and build relationships among groups in conflict.

Democracy International
Democracy International is implementing USAID's Developing Quantitative Research Skills project to improve local skills to provide quantitative and qualitative research, including public opinion surveys and project evaluations.

International Center for Journalists (ICFJ)
ICFJ implements USAID's project to strengthen independent media by developing a strong, professional and sustainable media sector through capacity building and media support at the national and community levels.

Management Sciences for Development (MSD)
MSD implements the Justice Institutions Strengthening Project, which provides technical support that enables governments and civil society to develop and implement sustainable programs to promote and protect the rights of marginalized populations in developing democracies and societies in transition.

Search for Common Ground (SFCG)
SCFG's Youth Radio for Peace project promotes youth participation in reconciliation and peace building through the innovative use of media, and particularly radio programs for, by and about youth.

Economic Growth

Associates in Rural Development (ARD)
ARD is USAID's implementing partner for the Ita Nia Rai (Strengthening Property Rights) project, which provides comprehensive support for the government's efforts to establish a functioning land titling, registration and dispute resolution system.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS)
CRS implements the Development of Candlenut Enterprises project which works to improve the quality of this valuable export crop at each stage along the value chain.

Church World Service (CWS)
CWS provides support to microentrepreneurs in four of Timor-Leste's districts, focusing particularly on communities in remote areas.

Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC)
EDC implements USAID's Prepara Ami ba Servisu (Preparing Ourselves for Work/PAS) project that provides on-and off-the-job training to thousands of young people who have left the formal education system.

International Finance Corporation (IFC)
IFC implements USAID's project to assist the government of Timor-Leste in streamlining its business registration procedures to encourage entrepreneurship and a stronger business climate.

Land O’Lakes (LOL)
LOL implements USAID's Building Agribusiness Capacity project, which works with Timor-Leste's three agricultural high schools to develop a new agribusiness curriculum, teaching entrepreneurial skills to 150 students a year.

National Cooperatives Business Association (NCBA)
NCBA implements the Consolidating Cooperative Agribusiness Recovery project to provide business management support to Cooperativa Café Timor and help farmers diversify their agricultural base with innovative agricultural techniques and new crops.

Xanana Vocational Education Trust
The Xanana Trust implements a USAID pilot project to introduce a household dairy industry to Timor-Leste.

Health

CDM International
USAID's District Waster Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (DWASH) project is implemented by CDM in remote areas of two rural districts. It strengthens government delivery of services and helps communities make the most of their new water, sanitation and hygiene facilities.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS)
In three target districts, CRS works with the Catholic Church to increase demand for and availability of family planning services, particularly natural methods of family planning.

Health Alliance International (HAI)
Health Alliance International (HAI) is an international public health organization, affiliated with the University of Washington, that works with Ministry of Health to boost the overall health infrastructure of Timor-Leste. It administers USAID's Child Survival and Health Grants Program and Promoting Community Demand for Child Spacing project.

John Snow, Inc. and Partnership for Child Health
USAID project to improve health services at the sub-district and community levels is Timor-Leste Assistencia Integradu Saúde (Timor-Leste Integrated Health Assistance/TAIS). John Snow, Inc., which implements USAID’s Basic Support for Institutionalizing Child Survival (BASICS), works with Partnership for Child Health, which implements Immunization Basics, on TAIS.
