The U.S. Embassy will hold a Town Hall Meeting for U.S. citizens at Hotel El Convento located next to San Francisco Church in Leon on August 31, 2012, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Ambassador Phyllis M. Powers will be the principal speaker.
Representatives from the Consular Section will be available to assist U.S. citizens with questions regarding federal benefits, crisis preparedness and consular services. The Acting Regional Security Officer will discuss security issues and concerns.
