Colonel Marue Quick is a native of Fairmount, Illinois.  She graduated from Western Illinois University and earned her commission into the Ordnance Corps as a Distinguished Military Graduate in May of 1987.  Her military education includes the Army War College, the Joint and Combined, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Course, the Ordnance Officers’ Basic and Advance Courses, a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Troy State, and a Masters in Strategic Studies from the Army War College. 

COL Quick has served in a variety of assignments including Chief, Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Humanitarian Mine Action, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and Chief, EOD Branch, Adaptive Networks, Threats, and Solutions, Army Asymmetric Warfare Office, Department of the Army G3/5/7. COL Quick has also served as Battalion Commander, 79th Ordnance Battalion (Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Corps Logistics Planner  for NATO Allied Command Europe - Rapid Reaction Corps (HRF-L), Executive Officer 725th Main Support Battalion and Division Ammunition Officer, 25th Infantry Division, Munitions Staff Officer and Chief, Ammunition Supply Branch, Eighth United States Army, Division EOD Officer, 1st Infantry Division (FWD) and Operations Officer, 546th Ordnance Battalion (EOD)(FWD) while deployed to Bosnia , Executive Officer and Operations Officer of the 542d Ordnance Battalion (EOD), and Commander, 75th Ordnance Detachment (EOD). Earlier in her career, COL Quick served as Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General Army Research Development and Engineering Center, Ammunition Platoon Leader, Ammunition Operations Officer, and Maintenance Platoon Leader, 23d Ordnance Company.

COL Quick’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal (2-OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (4-OLC), Joint Service Commendation Medal (1-OLC), Army Commendation Medal (2-OLC), Navy Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal (1-OLC), Army Achievement Medal (3-OLC), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal the Army Staff Badge, and Secretary of Defense Staff Badge, and the Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Badge.


 

 

Harold E. Dunn, IV

CSM Harold E. Dunn IV

CSM Harold E. Dunn IV is a native of Fredericksburg, Virginia. He graduated from Chancellor High School and received his Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences from Mount Scenario College and is working towards his MBA from the University of Incarnate Word. Command Sgt. Maj. Dunn attended Basic Training and AIT at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Throughout his career CSM Dunn served in a variety of positions: He is currently serving as the Joint Task Force Paladin-South (192D EOD BN) Command Sergeant Major, located at Kandahar, Afghanistan. His other assignments include: 52D EOD Provisional Group Command Sergeant Major, 192D EOD Battalion Command Sergeant Major, Joint Task Force Paladin-East Command Sergeant Major, 184TH EOD Battalion Command Sergeant Major, 52D EOD Group Operations Sergeant Major, First Sergeant, Battalion Operations NCOIC, Platoon Sergeant, Company Operations NCOIC, Team Leader, and Team Member.

CSM Dunn’s military education includes: Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Combat Engineer, Air Assault School, NBC Officer Course, Defense Packaging of Hazardous Materials Transportation, Joint Nuclear EOD Course, Global Anti-Terrorism Operational Readiness Course, Access and Disablement of Improvised Nukes Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, First Sergeant Course, Pre-Command Sergeant Major Course, Pre-Command Course, and a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. 

His awards and decorations includes: the Bronze Star medal (3rd oak leaf cluster), the Defense Meritorious Service medal, the Meritorious Service medal (3rd oak leaf cluster), the Army Commendation medal (3rd oak leaf cluster), the Army Achievement medal (2nd oak leaf cluster), Valorous Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Superior Unit Award, the Army Good Conduct Medal (5th Award), the National Defense Service medal (2 Star), Southwest Asia Service medal (with bronze star), Afghanistan Campaign medal (3 Star), Iraq Campaign medal (3 Star), the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service medal, the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development ribbon (Numeral 4), Overseas Service ribbon (Numeral 2), the Army Service ribbon, Combat Action Badge, Master EOD Badge, Senior EOD Badge, and Basic EOD Badge, and Air Assault Wings. Command Sgt. Dunn is also a member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club (SAMC) and Order of Samuel Sharpe (Ordnance Corps).

CSM Dunn is married has three children.
