About the Workshop

A workshop on Neutron Reflectometry Data Reduction and Analysis will be held at the SNS  on July 11-12, 2011.  The goal of this workshop is  to help users analyze data that has been collected on the Liquids or Magnetism Reflectometers.  The workshop will consist of general lectures on theory and techniques for analyzing reflectivity data plus time set aside for attendees to analyze their data with the help of  instrument scientists.

This workshop is open to past users who need assistance with data reduction and analysis. Space is limited to 20 people so there will be an application process. There is no registration fee, but attendees will be responsible for their travel expenses to ORNL.  Upon acceptance, some travel expenses will be provided.

We need to assess how many people are interested in attending the workshop. Please respond by May 20, 2011, if you are interested. Feel free to contact us with any other questions you might have. Soon after May 20, we will solicit applications from all interested parties.
