About the Meeting

ORNL researchers from the Quantum Condensed Matter Division, working on topics related to the workshop, will meet with members of the German Funded Virtual Institute of New States of Matter and Their Excitations to identify and set new directions for future research in the area emphasizing the use of inelastic neutron scattering.

The Virtual Institute is comprised of some German experimental researchers and theoretical experts from Germany, the UK and the United States, with collaborative participation by researchers at ORNL’s QCMD. The workshop will emphasize frontier aspects of quantum, frustrated, and topological systems.
