The sanctuary Visitor Center is free and open to the public Wednesday through Sunday from 10 am - 4 pm. Housed in an historic Coast Guard Station, the exhibits highlight the amazing wildlife in the Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, the threats to the wildlife, as well as what people can do to help protect the sanctuary.
Located in a stunning location, with views of the Golden Gate Bridge and direct access to the sandy beach, the Visitor Center is an incredible resource for students and the general public. We offer a range of dynamic school programs and public programs that excite people to study, explore, and protect the marine environment.
